Adolescents (AGE 13-18)

For adolescents suffering from psychological disorders, the acute adolescent unit can help. The program is designed to identify the effects of trauma, if present, and to offer support, guidance and intervention for adolescents to successfully cope with issues that may include:

• Depression/anxiety
• Impulse control
• Situational crisis
• Trauma related issues
• Obsessive compulsive disorders

Due to the high percentage of co-occurring diagnoses, we offer education and support for alcohol, and drug abuse and dependence.

Families and selected school districts are actively involved in the treatment programs enabling the child to successfully return to home and school setting.

Students attend school at Brooke Glen on a daily basis according to their regular school calendar and are taught at the level of ability.
