Serving young adults, ages 13 – 18

Teen depression and other adolescent mental health issues are becoming more common in today’s society. Our inpatient adolescent program is designed to identify the effects of trauma, if present, and to offer support, guidance and intervention for adolescents to successfully cope with issues that may include:

  • Depression/anxiety
  • Impulse control
  • Situational crisis
  • Trauma related issues
  • Obsessive compulsive disorders

Teenage patients are supported in keeping up with their schoolwork while hospitalized by attending our on-site school program led by certified teachers who coordinate with each student’s home school what assignments and school work is needed.

Patients in psychiatric crisis who have co-occurring substance abuse issues or problems receive referrals for treatment of substance abuse disorders post discharge once their psychiatric crisis is stabilized.
